Basso Bikes are meticulously made marvels of machinery.  From one of the true leaders in reliable and innovative design and construction, they invest in and develop new technologies and techniques with a focus on perfecting them, rather than moving on to the next big thing ASAP.  They don't make disposable whizzbangery, they make bikes worth investing in.  Bikes that are as highly developed and finely tuned as any Koenigsegg or Pagani hypercar.  
If you reach out quick enough, you can potentially equip your own custom Basso build, as we're torn whether to put high level Shimano, or Camagnolo groupset on this bike when we fully refurbish it.
