Trek 970 - 18''

The Trek 970 is a classic American-made steel mountain bike, built with a frame that delivers a smooth, responsive ride prized by vintage bike enthusiasts.  This is literally the last of its type for Trek. The next year after this model was new, Trek no longer manufactured hand built, American made, lugged steel bikes.  Foreign manufactured welded steel and aluminum were the order of the day after this. Get your hands on this time capsule while you can.  They quite literally don't make 'em like this anymore!  If it were 1 size bigger, your reviewer/author would be reliving his youth on this magic machine!
